Franchisees receive 21-31 hours of Classroom Training and 28-49 hours of On-The Job Training. In addition to the corporate-based training, we make available to franchisees at their location a minimum of 15 days before the Grand Opening and 10 days post opening. As a franchise owner, you will have access to all of LaPaella’s trademarks, exclusive recipes, our established business model, marketing materials and operational procedures.
We prefer that franchise owners who join the LaPaella system have previous restaurant experience and have multiple brands already in their system. We look for well-capitalized business and community leaders who have solid management experience as multi-unit operators, with strong leadership, team-building, coaching, and problem solving skills.
The initial investment is projected to cost up to $903,000. This investment amount includes a franchise fee of $40,000.
Franchisees will be required to pay royalties at a rate of 5% of gross revenue. Franchisees will be required to contribute 4% of gross revenues into the system marketing fund. Collected funds will be used to develop marketing strategies to promote the LaPaella brand and fund the creative costs to develop local franchise marketing materials and campaigns.
The initial term of your franchise agreement is 10 years, with additional renewal terms of 10 years each.
Typically, it takes 9 months to a full year after you sign the franchise agreement to open your first restaurant.
